Appointment availability

I understand that some of us can have busy lives and making time to see a counsellor can be difficult; with that in mind I am available for counselling appointments in the evenings from 5:30pm right up until 8:30pm, subject to availability.

Session length and appointment times

Sessions last for 50 minutes for both couples and individuals.

There is the option to extend couples sessions to 80 minutes which

can be discussed in your session if you are finding 50 minutes

too short.

Appointment location

Appointments are held at:

Willow Herbal Centre,

2 The Drive,

Harold Wood,

RM3 0DU.

The centre is approximately 5 minutes walk from Harold Wood

By road:  From the M25 take junction 28 onto the A12 towards

Romford.  At the second set of traffic lights turn left into

Gubbins Lane.  The centre is on the left, approximately half a

mile down, just before Harold Wood Station.  On and off street

parking is available.

By bus: The 294, 256 and the 496 all stop outside Harold Wood Station, from outside the station facing the road, turn right and walk for approximately 2-3 minutes. The Willow Herbal Centre will be on your left, and is located near the corner of Gubbins Lane and The Drive.

By rail: From Central London, Harold Wood Station can be reached by travelling to London Liverpool Street Station and taking the National Rail service to towards Shenfield.

Block booking discount

If you would like to pay for your sessions up front, you can choose to 'block book' 6 sessions

at a time.  If you choose to block book you will receive a 5% discount on the session fees.

All that is required is that you pay for your 6 sessions together at the outset of counselling.

Block booking (6 sessions) fees are listing below:

£285.00 - Individual Counselling

£342.00 - Couples Counselling

How to pay

Payment is preferably taken by cash, but other options are available.  I can accept payment via direct bank transfer and using Barclaycard Pingit, however, payment via these methods must be taken at the beginning of the session, so please mention before your appointment if you would like to pay by direct bank transfer or Pingit.

In your initial assessment I will ask you for some background information about yourself, your circumstances and the issue(s) that has brought you to see me.

It may sound obvious, but it can be helpful to think about how you might answer the question 'what has brought you to counselling?' before attending.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an appointment, for any reason, I will require 24 hours advance notice to avoid cancellation charges.  If you cancel your appointment on the day, the session fee will still be owed and you will be required to settle this fee at your next session.

In the event that I need to cancel your appointment for any reason I will give notice as soon as possible.  If you have block booked your sessions you will be offered the option of coming in at the next available slot, or rescheduling for the following week.
